Lex announces preferred supplier fleet-management agreement with Compass Group
Lex, the UK’s largest vehicle leasing company, today announced that Compass Group, the UK’s leading catering and support services company has signed a two-year preferred supplier agreement with Lex to manage Compass Group’s fleet of 800 vehicles.
The agreement comes five years after Lex first started working with Compass Group, initially as part of a multi-supplier arrangement that also featured two other leasing providers.
As preferred supplier, Lex will deliver a range of products to Compass Group, including contract hire, fleet management, pay on use maintenance, a full duty of care suite and daily rental, with accident management to follow later in the year. Mick Morgan, Head of Supply Chain at Compass Group, UK and Ireland commented: “Over the past three years Lex has consistently delivered an excellent standard of service, and on that evidence we decided to move away from a multi-supplier agreement and work exclusively with Lex.”
Compass Group is the UK market leader in providing contract catering and a range of support services to customers in workplaces, schools and colleges and hospitals, at sports and leisure venues, and in defence, offshore and remote locations..
